On 24 June, I had the honour of attending the 2023 ZEST Awards, a special event where we recognised and valued the hard work and dedication of our community's most passionate and committed groups and leaders. The night acknowledged the valuable contributions made by community programs like the Transition to School Community Partnership Program and the Liverpool Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Women's Water Safety Program. Thank you to the organisers of these programs for your contribution to the health and wellbeing of our community. I would like to also extend my warmest congratulations to the Living Stories Western Sydney Writing Competition nominees for winning the Outstanding Project Community Arts and Culture Award. I thank West Lit Libraries and WestWords who in partnership have showcased the artistic talents Liverpool has to offer. I would like to thank the organisers and partners for hosting and supporting this remarkable event. A big congratulations to all the winners and nominees.
