I had the great privilege of joining the Liverpool Mandaean community in celebrating a significant and spiritually enriching occasion—the ordination of His Beatitude, Brikha H.S. Nasoraia to the esteemed rank of Reshema. The role of the Reshema is pivotal, serving as a beacon of spiritual guidance, and a revered source of inspiration for the entire Mandaean community. His Beatitude's ordination reflects a deep reservoir of faith and understanding, instilling pride among all attendees. As a custodian of religious knowledge and wisdom, his dedication to nurturing and leading the community, will be instrumental in strengthening their spiritual journey and connection. My sincere congratulations to His Beatitude, his family, and the Mandaean community on this momentous occasion.
