I recognise Year 12 Cecil Hills High School student Leonie Keovongsack for her outstanding participation in the You Should Be A Cop program. Leonie represented her school with distinction throughout the program, which brought together students from across South Western Sydney. Despite being the only participant from Cecil Hills High School, she quickly distinguished herself through her confidence, leadership and willingness to engage in every aspect of the program. Leonie approached each task with enthusiasm and professionalism, earning praise from NSW Police officers for her respectful attitude, strong communication skills and positive contribution. Her conduct throughout the program reflected great credit on herself, her family and her school. Programs such as You Should Be A Cop provide young people with valuable opportunities to develop leadership skills, build confidence and gain insight into careers in public service. The program is an important step in rebuilding our frontline police force and ensuring it reflects our broader community. Leonie's success demonstrates the bright future ahead of her. I congratulate Leonie on this impressive achievement and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
