Today I acknowledge the long and dedicated service of Juana Reinoso, who will celebrate 30 years of working at CORE Community Services. Juana joined CORE in 1994 as a project worker and has since held various roles across a number of key service areas. Her service to the people of south-west Sydney and comprehensive understanding of CORE as an organisation made her the ideal candidate for CEO. She stepped into that role in October 2014. Under her leadership, CORE has not only expanded its service, offering to meet the growing needs of the diverse communities of south-west Sydney, but it has also firmly established it reputation as a well-respected and capable service provider. Juana has extensive experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and I have had the pleasure of working with her to support the services offered at Miller Hub and establish the 2168 Roundtable. I congratulate Juana on this significant milestone of service. While I cannot make it to her celebration today, I wish her the very best and look forward to continuing to support her.
