Once again, I'm so excited to recognise the outstanding achievement of the James Busby High School volleyball team, who have been named among the top 20 school teams in New South Wales following an exceptional season. The team completed the Sydney South West Championships undefeated, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the hard work, determination and teamwork of every player involved. To progress through a highly competitive field without a loss is no small feat and speaks volumes about the commitment and resilience shown by the students throughout the competition. It also goes to show that Liverpool is at the heart of the growth in volleyball in south-west Sydney! This achievement is a source of great pride for the entire James Busby High School community and highlights the strength of school sport in Liverpool. Success at this level requires not only talent, but also discipline, sportsmanship and a shared commitment to excellence. I congratulate every member of the team on this well-deserved recognition and wish them the very best as they prepare to compete at the Combined High Schools Championships in Term 3.
