I commend the Indigenous students of James Busby High School for their participation in the secondary Aboriginal dance workshop at Airds High School. A collaboration between Bangarra Dance Theatre and the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit offers students a unique opportunity to engage with their culture through contemporary Indigenous dance. I recently had the privilege of visiting James Busby High School and can attest to the remarkable talent and profound cultural connection demonstrated by its students. Their achievements are truly inspiring, and we take immense pride in their accomplishments. I congratulate Shelly DeGabriel on receiving an invitation to audition for the Bangarra Dance Theatre. This achievement underscores James Busby High School's mission to foster a supportive environment for student growth.
