Congratulations to all players, volunteers, coaches and families of Hoxton Park Tigers Cricket Club on another successful season! The recent Presentation Night was an opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of players across all age groups and to celebrate the dedication, sportsmanship and teamwork that define the club. I particularly congratulate Girls Player of the Year, Chantelle Ranjan, who had a stellar season in the Brewer Shield competition. What makes the Hoxton Park Tigers so special is not only the talent they develop on the field, but also the important role they play in bringing our community together. The club provides a welcoming environment where families from diverse backgrounds can connect, build friendships and foster a strong sense of belonging through sport. Grassroots sporting clubs are the backbone of our community. They teach young people valuable lessons in discipline, respect and teamwork while strengthening social cohesion and community spirit. I thank the committee, coaches, volunteers and supporters whose hard work makes the club's success possible, and I congratulate all players on their achievements.
