Lights! Music! Action! Green Valley Public School students razzled and dazzled in a matinee and evening performance for their 2024 School Concert. The students, staff and parents at Green Valley always look forward to this biannual event and, this year, the performances were better than ever. This year's lineup was stacked, including renditions from Grease, Ghostbusters, Minions and more. There is so much talent in the Valley and I am so pleased to see Green Valley Public School providing avenues for students to unleash their creativity and their dance skills. All of this would not be possible without the work of Maddie Low, an ex-Green Valley student who kindly donated her time to help classes prepare for their concert items. It's worth highlighting that music brightens the day, uplifts our spirit, nourishes our creative minds, and develops the brain. Music teaches us to listen more and talk less and can help create better citizens. Music can also provoke and inspire us to create a better world. School concerts and music programs are essential!
