Earlier this month Bonnie Support Services had their Annual General Meeting. It was an important opportunity to hear about the important work that Bonnies has been doing in our community. As a local service, they provide hugely important homelessness and crisis support services for women and children escaping family violence. As a truly south-west Sydney organisation, they are well aware of and cater to the various needs of our culturally and linguistically diverse community. Importantly, they provide trauma informed care and advocate for filling the gaps in family and domestic violence support. I congratulate the chair of the board, Councillor Betty Green, all board directors, executive director Tracey Phillips and all the staff for everything they do to save women's and children's lives. I look forward to joining them on December 1st for their annual candlelight vigil in Macquarie Mall, which is an opportunity to pay tribute to the women and children who have died and honour their memory and commit to ending violence against women and
