All Saints Liverpool Marian Procession

02 June 2026

I recognise the inaugural Marian Procession held through the Liverpool CBD by the All Saints Parish community in honour of Our Lady Help of Christians, the Patroness of Australia. Despite wet weather, parishioners came together in a powerful display of faith, prayer and community spirit. With the Men of Loreto leading in song, the procession provided an opportunity for participants to publicly express their faith while reflecting on the values of compassion, hope and service that continue to strengthen our community. Events such as this are an important reminder of Liverpool's rich cultural and religious diversity. They bring people together, foster a sense of belonging and highlight the positive contribution that faith communities make to the social fabric of our city. I congratulate All Saints Parish on organising this inaugural procession and thank everyone who participated. Their dedication ensured the event was a meaningful success and demonstrated the strong faith and community spirit that exists across Liverpool. May this procession become a valued tradition for many years to come.
